Dr. Nina is a licensed psychologist and has worked in various therapeutic settings, including a youth homeless shelter, a domestic violence shelter, substance abuse outpatient programs, community mental health center, and in corrections settings. She was the Clinical Director for a young adult transition program.

A seasoned mental health professional with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Nina specializes in mindfulness-based modalities and focuses on behavioral and cognitive therapies. She is a trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) practitioner and also facilitates Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety, and SMART Recovery. In addition to EMDR, she is trained in Prolonged Exposure (PE) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma-focused work. Dr. Nina also utilizes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP/EXRP) in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety. Dr. Nina is also a facilitator of Path of Freedom®,the mindfulness-based emotional intelligence (MBEI) curriculum developed for at-risk populations by Prison Mindfulness Institute.

Dr. Nina brings unparalleled multicultural awareness and understanding, as well as compassion and sensitivity toward cultural differences. Her style of therapy is collaborative and supportive. She brings empathy and humor to her work with clients, and she challenges clients when necessary. Her versatile experience in counseling makes her a highly
responsive and effective therapist.

Dr. Nadine is a licensed professional counselor in the State of Colorado and pending licensure in the State of Ohio. She earned both her Masters and Doctoral degrees in clinical psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology from the University of the Rockies and Ashford University. Dr. Nadine has collaborated with individuals who sustained trauma, sexual trauma, depression, anxiety, and differential mental health disorders. Dr. Nadine specialized in Equine-facilitated psychotherapy during her pre/post-doctoral internships and completed her research with a heuristic study on Group Equine-facilitated psychotherapy for women who sustained sexual trauma and abuse.
Dr. Nadine specializes in the treatment of symptoms of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and comorbid disorders. She incorporates holistic practice with evidenced-based psychotherapy, such as Nature-based psychotherapy techniques, mindfulness, and relaxation/visualization techniques with Person-centered psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to address trauma, anxiety, depression, and existential life changes for both men and women. Dr. Nadine’s hobbies include sharing the great outdoors in the form of camping, hiking, and experiential activities with her family, friends and loved Dachshund, Sophie.

Daphne Drake is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate who has earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego and Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with an emphasis in Transpersonal Wilderness Therapy, from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. Daphne works with adults from diverse backgrounds experiencing significant life changes. She experiences working with incarcerated individuals facing complex mental health, addiction and trauma has equipped her with a deep understanding of resilience and the power of finding meaning in difficult situations. 
As a humanistic counselor, Daphne believes that every one of them are fundamentally good and have the potential for growth. She is non-judgmental and inclusive and have worked extensively with clients of diverse gender identities, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and socioeconomic factors. As a BIPOC counselor, Daphne understands the importance of creating a safe space where client’s unique experiences are valued and validated. She recognizes the impact of systemic factors and will work with clients to navigate them.
